Our Team

We are a small team of dedicated people who aim to show God's love for the world by making St John's as welcoming as possible and by serving the needs of those around us.

Evan Chapman and Ruth Livingstone are our Churchwardens. Like most Churchwardens they get through a tremendous amount of work and are very important members of our leadership team.

They provide an important link between the congregation and the clergy and they also have legal responsibilities for the running of the parish.

The Rev'd Meg Underdown is Assistant Priest in the parish of Cathays. However she enjoys St John's so much that for many years she has been present on most Thursday afternoons between 12.30pm and 2pm for listening, counsel and prayer. We are blessed by having Rev'd Meg as a chaplain in St John's.

The Rev'd Rhian Linecar is our Assistant Curate. Rhian is a fluent Welsh speaker and is therefore able to fulfill her passion for City Centre ministry by serving both at St John’s and at Cardiff’s Welsh speaking Anglican Church, Eglwys Dewi Sant. We are delighted Rhian is part of our team.
